The Wade Wilson we saw in Wolverine: Origins was about 30 years old in the early to mid 1970s when Stryker's Team X mercenary squad is active. It is definitely an alternate timeline (whether separate or part of current x-movies we're not sure) as everything from the 1970s on has been altered due to the events of Days of Future Past. But is this Deadpool movie part of the current X-timeline? We know that Fox rewrote the entire X-cinematic universe with Days of Future Past and many discrepancies can be explained away with alternate timelines.
